In the words of our co-owner, Todd Canter:

“As a proud sponsor of the festival’s wine tent, we’re thrilled to help showcase the region’s growing wine scene. We’re also hosting a private rooftop event for our hotel guests on the fifth floor. With our dramatic floor-to-ceiling steel and glass garage doors open to the harbor, it’s without question the best view in town to watch the fireworks.”

From the colorful boat parade to the sky-lit fireworks, and the buzz of Bridge Street filled with local vendors, live music, and community connection, this weekend was a celebration of everything we love about our Harbor.

As the Star Beacon shared, the Riverbend Hotel was proud to sponsor the wine tent and host a private rooftop gathering for our guests with “the best view in town” to enjoy the fireworks. Thank you to everyone who came, cheered, laughed, explored, and made it a weekend to remember.

To understand this choice, let's delve into the essence of boutique hotels. Coined by Ian Schrager, the visionary behind Studio 54 and the Morgans Hotel in New York City, the term "boutique hotel" connotes a smaller, more stylish accommodation, usually situated in trendy urban locales. It stands as a counterpoint to the sprawling, uniform structures of chain hotels like Hilton and Marriott, offering instead an intimate, chic, and imaginative experience akin to boutique shopping.
